How do you get a truly great profile pic? Options.
When you get something you're happy with it can be tempting to stop. My advice: push through. Who cares if you make more? They're all digital; the only cost is time. In my sessions, we might shoot 400 or more. (Which is why I developed systems to sort them.)
Whether it's for Hinge, Tinder, LinkedIn, or your company's About page, the difference between a good profile photo and a great one is options. I shoot a lot of Bay Area professionals and creatives out of my Oakland studio, and the ones who nail it are the ones who stay loose and let the session breathe.
