Self-Portraits

A self-portrait is a lot of problem-solving. I’ll blend the exposure triangle with movement, flash pops, constant light, laser-cut GOBOs, specialty lenses, and glorious, high-ISO noise. Sunday’s a real party at my place.

Embodying “sexy,” “playful,” “grieving” and “atomized” means owning them. Literally. I watch my face age, my gut grow and recede.

Showing you all that makes me feel very, very vulnerable, which is what I want. Vulnerability is a skill; the more I learn to show, the deeper we can connect.
