It was an honor and great time both to sit down with local emcee Def-I (who frequents Vital Foods, so I see him plenty) for a session. Though I went into it thinking about the lights I’d shot him under at the El Rey back in May, I found myself more drawn to him in black and white tones, and in a muddy sepia.
