My friend Amanda met me at the Greyhound in Boise, and we returned to her house in Nampa. At her house in Nampa, her boyfriend Hector took us each by the hand into a lightless room, and served us delicious Mediterranean finger food, to be tasted without interference from pesky protons.
Now, Hector’s a bit of an artist. He’s a painter, an illustrator, a sculptor, and a hell of a cook. He goes by Dulce Macho, because he’s that awesome.
The next day, in conversation, an opportunity appeared for me to take some photos of some pitchers he’s been crafting. And so it happened, right in the front window display of Puffy Mondaes.
