It was a gorgeous Sunday to gather for words in the Anasazi Wine Fields. My friend Levi—who, if you know me, you know is the reason I live where I do—invited me on a whim, and told me on the way he was warming the stage for Tony Hoagland. So I grabbed camera and off we went to Placitas, NM.
And as Levi Romero told the assembled he writes essentially writes love poems, so did Tony Hoagland thank him. Because he writes essentially angry poems. It was a beautiful, balanced day.
