Thanksgiving Leftovers

Here lie the Thanksgiving Leftovers. One-off portraits; walks in the woods; the view from the lawn chair; a lost stage-side moment from the Flamenco Denver show. The not-quite-good-enoughs, or good enough, but without enough other good-enoughs to build a story around.

Thank you, everyone, for hosting me, feeding me, pouring liquor wholesale over my head, offering me your couches and spare bedrooms, and laughing. Thank you most of all for that. This trip put a spark under my long-sleeping wanderlust. We’ll see what can be made of 2016.

From where I sit, these Thanksgiving leftovers are all gravy.
